  • Wisconsin Land Information System (WLIS) DNR Pilot Project
    WLIS represents the state's longterm vision for a web-based, statewide land information system. Wisconsin's Department of Natural Resources is developing and testing parts of the system.

    WISCLINC is a gateway to geospatial data and metadata, related land and reference information, and the Wisconsin agencies which produce or maintain these items. WISCLINC is also a registered node in the national web of NSDI clearinghouses.

  • Wisconsin County and Municipal Web Mapping Sites
    Many county and municipal governments in Wisconsin are developing interactive web mapping sites. This is a portal to those that are accessible to the public along with information about the status of sites that are in development.

    A Wisconsin Sea Grant site that provides access to current and historical aerial photographs, USGS topographic maps, and shaded relief maps for the Lake Michigan and Lake Superior coasts of Wisconsin.

    This is the first cut at an interactive web mapping site for the Lake Superior Circle Tour. Please feel free to review the site and make comments on additional features and data you would like to see.

  • Great Lakes Bathymetry Explorer
    An educational web site that citizens and coastal decision-makers can use to gain a better understanding of underwater features in Lake Michigan and Lake Superior and make a connection between the lakes and their watershed.

  • 3D Visualization of Coastal Resources
    A demonstration of 3D visualization software to better understand coastal erosion processes and coastal development setbacks.
